Over the last year, I have slowly begun to incorporate a meditation practice into my regular daily routine. I have issues with anxiety and I have found that just taking a few minutes everyday to stop and be silent, be mindful and aware, has helped me tremendously in keeping my panic attacks at bay. It has also been beneficial in helping me deal with the chronic pain I have. I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia, but prior to the diagnosis, I thought I was being a hypochondriac or that something was seriously wrong with me.
Of course, fibro is a serious condition, but sometimes just naming the beast helps me to deal with it better. I can at least do research on what is helping others that suffer with the same condition. And I was pleasantly surprised to see that I was already practicing some of the suggested exercises. Namely yoga and meditation.
Until I received these prayer beads, I utilized my oil diffuser that has colorful led lights that change as a focal point. But sometimes, I just wanted to close my eyes while meditating, so lights weren’t always the best option. Now that I have the prayer beads, I can hold them in my hands and concentrate on each bead, in conjunction with my breath and any prayers or mantras I may be using that day.
These beads are beautiful to look at also, and can be worn as a wrap around bracelet if desired. They are strung on an elastic band so it is flexible enough to fit nearly anyone. The tiger eye beads are particularly pretty. It comes in a neatly packaged silk lined box for easy gift giving if you have a meditator on your list. This is a beautiful set of prayer beads that they would be thrilled to receive.
I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
