I have health conditions that worsen with stress, so I am always looking for fun and unique ways to keep my stress levels down. One of the best ways I’ve found to do this is to be creative and crafty. I crochet, I doodle and I draw zentangles, but I love to use adult coloring books the most as a way to relax and unwind.
I use all different types of products to color in my books with. I like gel pens, colored pencils, crayons and markers. That’s why I wanted to try this set of markers out, so I could have them on-hand for when I want to color in a coloring book. There are 100 different colored markers in this set, no duplicates and they have various shades of the same color, which can make a picture look absolutely awesome.
For this review I decided to do an optical illusion drawing, by tracing around my hand and then using stripes of color. On the background you make straight lines and then a slight curve over the hand to make it appear 3-D. In this example I used all the broad tips of the markers. These markers are double tipped so you can color larger areas with the broad tip or smaller areas with the bullet tip.
The markers move smoothly across the paper with no skips and very little bleed through. If you hold the marker in one spot too long I’m sure it will, so I always use a scrap piece of paper under the page I am coloring, just in case. The colors are vibrant and bright.
This is a terrific set of markers to have on hand for coloring sessions.
I received this product for free or at a discounted price in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
