Klarinda Snow owns Mistletoe Manor, a quaint 7 room bed and breakfast in a small town in Idaho called Windy Pines. The inn is about to be full of guests for the first time, since she bought it. Mistletoe Manor is normally a getaway for couples, so when her inn is all booked up on a Tuesday and most of the guests appear to be single, she is suspicious. And once she receives a mysterious package full of cash, her suspicions are on high alert.
As the guests begin to arrive, Klarinda is kept busy trying to please her demanding guests, and barely has time to worry about her suspicions. As she speaks with each of the guests, she soon puts together that they all attended a private school together as teenagers. That’s where the mystery begins. As her guests begin to die in strange ways, she knows without a doubt that the killer set everything in motion. The question is, “who did it and why?”
This little novel was a quick read, and follows the plot of most cozy mysteries. With that being said, if you are a fan of the cozy mystery genre, you won’t be disappointed by this book.
